Do you think you will be able to face a 12 hour tournament plus Top 4 together with your two best friends? If so gather your teammates and come Sunday, September 15th 2013 at 8:30AM in TRIESTE in Via di Servola 110. The tourney is composed of 12 rounds and it is divided in two phases. 1st phase - TEAM sealed Ravnica, to each team will be provided 12 boosters: 2X Boosters [RAV] Ravnica City of Guild 2X Boosters [GPT] - Guildpact 2X Boosters [DIS] — Dissension 2X Boosters [RTR] — Return to Ravnica 2X Boosters [GTC] — Gatecrash 2X Boosters [DGM] — Dragonâ€s Maze Each team should build 3 limited decks (40 cards minimum) and three rounds will be played. After the first three turn there will be a Lunch stop. The tourney will be resumed at 13:00. 2nd phase - At the beginning of the second phase all the members of each team (A - B - C) will take part to a different booster draft: Player A - Pauper Cube Draft Player B - Magic 2014 — [M14] Draft Player C - Modern Masters — [MM] Draft e. g. Player A will only take part to a Pauper Cube draft and not to the M14 or the MM draft. After the draft and the deck construction time, 9 rounds will follow with a mixed scheme: Rounds 4 - 5 - 6: Player 1 M14 draft Player 2 T2 Player 3 Modern Rounds 7 - 8 - 9: Player 1 Modern Player 2 Pauper Cube Player 3 T2 Rounds 10 - 11 - 12: Player 1 T2 Player 2 Modern Player 3 MM Draft In this phase each player will play the three turns of his draft and 6 constructed rounds (3 Standard and 3 Modern). Decklists for constructed will be collected at the beginning of the second phase for ALL the players. Each team can chose to play the same copy of the deck since the distribution of the constructed rounds allows it, or 3 different decks, or any other combination. Each victory will add 3 points and each draw 1 point as usual. The sum of the scores of ALL the three player will be the score of the TEAM. The TOP 4 TEAMS (the four teams with the highest score) at the end of the 12 swiss rounds will play a TOP4 with direct elimination. The format of the TOP 4 will be a secret format and will not be revealed until the 9th turn. The prize support is the following: 1° TEAM : 2 Box of Theros + Cup 2° TEAM : 1 Box of Theros 3° TEAM : ½ Box of Theros 4° TEMA : ½ Box of Theros (The boxes will be shipped or delivered by hand AFTER the set will become legal) The tourney will cost 115 - 110 € for each TEAM. It will be possible to have Lunch or Dinner with the convection with the Spaghetti House: Main Course + Drink + coffee = 10€ Due to the difficulty in gathering the material for the event there will be a CAP at 16 teams. The tourney will not be DCI sanctioned.
